I gave it up. The hair dye. I have great white hair, blends with my skin. I enjoy my age and grateful for it. My Nother changed her passport to be younger. Long time ago. I never knew her real age until close to her death. We are all different .Thank you

I stopped coloring my hair during the first year of the pandemic and I've never regretted it. The other day I went to the theater and afterward, at a restaurant, a woman came up to me and said she was sitting four rows behind me. "Your hair is beautiful!" she told me. It made my day. Actually, my week, maybe my month . . .
I live close to, not in - thank god, an area where there are super wealthy folks whose 3rd, 4th, sometimes 5th house looks like kings and queens might live there. I work at a little but wonderful store in that town and hear these kingly and queenly types’ complaints and woes. It’s nauseating (and snicker worthy) to hear the entitlement and silly, spoiled, shallow complaints and chatter of these unfortunates. We smile and fawn though, because…
But they all look great so I suppose that’s compensation for their hollow lives. So well maintained and polished! Nobody cares.
