The “Jewish “ neighbor says it all

I love your introspection and humility Mark. And, if you were indeed both the problem, it’s pretty clear it wasn’t 50:50.

Dave, I had to read your note twice--no one has accused me of humility before. But I appreciate your comment on 50:50 responsibility. Of course, if Garrett wrote the story, it would no doubt have read differently.

I think there’s humility in being able to admit when we’re wrong, or could have done better, but I could be wrong about that.

The Jewish neighbor sums it up!

We’ve all known a Garrett or two in our lives. Good for you for cutting him off. Life is toxic enough without having to pretend to like someone who doesn’t deserve your friendship.

I love these little stories, Mark. AND! hearing your voice?!?! What a treat! Did you do that on previous stories? I hadn't noticed before. 😊

Thanks Elaine! Just started doing voice overs an essay or two ago. Now I need to buy a microphone so it doesn't sound like I am recording from 1972.

What an interesting story. The squirrel bit mad me think of RFK Jr. Imagine him as your neighbor. The antisemitism aspect really touched home. Especially in this political climate. Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna remember this every time I see a squirrel!
